⁴^(A)And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make ^(B)atonement on his behalf.

Leviticus 1:4

New International Version

⁴You are to lay your hand on the head^(A) of the burnt offering,^(B) and it will be accepted^(C) on your behalf to make atonement^(D) for you.

¹⁴Then he brought ^(A)the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

¹⁴He then presented the bull^(A) for the sin offering,^(B) and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.^(C)
