²³ And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. Then they came out and blessed the people. And ^(A)the glory of Yahweh appeared to all the people. ^24 (B)Then fire came out from before Yahweh and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar. And all the people saw it and shouted and fell on their faces.

²⁴ Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of Yahweh, and ^(A)the God who answers by fire, He is God.” And all the people answered and said, “^[a]That is a good word.”

³⁸ Then the ^(A)fire of Yahweh fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
