11 ‘Now this is the law of the (A)sacrifice of peace offerings which shall be presented to the Lord. 12 If he offers it by way of (B)thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer (C)unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers [a]spread with oil, and cakes of well stirred fine flour mixed with oil. 13 With the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving, he shall present his offering with cakes of (D)leavened bread. 14 Of [b]this he shall present one of every offering as a [c]contribution to the Lord; (E)it shall [d]belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

15 ‘(F)Now as for the flesh of the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace offerings, it shall be eaten on the day of his offering; he shall not leave any of it over until morning. 16 But if the sacrifice of his offering is a (G)votive or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, and on the [e]next day what is left of it may be eaten; 17 (H)but what is left over from the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire. 18 So if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings should ever be eaten on the third day, he who offers it will not be accepted, and it will not be reckoned to his benefit. It shall be an (I)offensive thing, and the person who eats of it will bear his own iniquity.

19 ‘Also the flesh that touches anything unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. [f]As for other flesh, anyone who is clean may eat such flesh. 20 (J)But the person who eats the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to the Lord, [g]in his uncleanness, that person (K)shall be cut off from his people. 21 (L)When anyone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or any unclean [h]detestable thing, and eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to the Lord, that person shall be cut off from his people.’”

22 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘You shall not eat (M)any fat from an ox, a sheep or a goat. 24 Also the fat of an animal which dies and the fat of an animal (N)torn by beasts may be put to any other use, but you must certainly not eat it. 25 For whoever eats the fat of the animal from which [i]an offering by fire is offered to the Lord, even the person who eats shall be cut off from his people. 26 (O)You are not to eat any blood, either of bird or animal, in any of your dwellings. 27 Any person who eats any blood, even that person shall be cut off from his people.’”

28 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 29 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘He who offers (P)the sacrifice of his peace offerings to the Lord shall bring his offering to the Lord from the sacrifice of his peace offerings. 30 His own hands are to bring offerings by fire to the Lord. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the (Q)breast may be [j]presented as a wave offering before the Lord. 31 The priest shall offer up the fat in smoke on the altar, but (R)the breast shall belong to Aaron and his sons. 32 You shall give (S)the right thigh to the priest as a [k]contribution from the sacrifices of your peace offerings. 33 The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat, the right thigh shall be his as his portion. 34 For I have taken (T)the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the [l]contribution from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their due forever from the sons of Israel.

35 ‘This is [m]that which is consecrated to Aaron and [n]that (U)which is consecrated to his sons from the offerings by fire to the Lord, in that day when he presented them to serve as priests to the Lord. 36 [o]These the Lord had commanded to be given them from the sons of Israel in the day that He (V)anointed them. It is their due forever throughout their generations.’”

37 This is the law of the burnt offering, the grain offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering and (W)the ordination offering and the sacrifice of peace offerings, 38 (X)which the Lord commanded Moses at Mount Sinai in the day that He commanded the sons of Israel to [p]present their offerings to the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai.

The Fellowship Offering

11 “‘These are the regulations for the fellowship offering anyone may present to the Lord:

12 “‘If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering(A) they are to offer thick loaves(B) made without yeast(C) and with olive oil mixed in, thin loaves(D) made without yeast and brushed with oil,(E) and thick loaves of the finest flour well-kneaded and with oil mixed in. 13 Along with their fellowship offering of thanksgiving(F) they are to present an offering with thick loaves of bread made with yeast.(G) 14 They are to bring one of each kind as an offering, a contribution to the Lord; it belongs to the priest who splashes the blood of the fellowship offering against the altar. 15 The meat of their fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered; they must leave none of it till morning.(H)

16 “‘If, however, their offering is the result of a vow(I) or is a freewill offering,(J) the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day they offer it, but anything left over may be eaten on the next day.(K) 17 Any meat of the sacrifice left over till the third day must be burned up.(L) 18 If any meat of the fellowship offering(M) is eaten on the third day, the one who offered it will not be accepted.(N) It will not be reckoned(O) to their credit, for it has become impure; the person who eats any of it will be held responsible.(P)

19 “‘Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up. As for other meat, anyone ceremonially clean may eat it. 20 But if anyone who is unclean(Q) eats any meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people.(R) 21 Anyone who touches something unclean(S)—whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean creature that moves along the ground[a]—and then eats any of the meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord must be cut off from their people.’”

Eating Fat and Blood Forbidden

22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.(T) 24 The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals(U) may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it. 25 Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which a food offering may be[b] presented to the Lord must be cut off from their people. 26 And wherever you live, you must not eat the blood(V) of any bird or animal. 27 Anyone who eats blood(W) must be cut off from their people.’”

The Priests’ Share

28 The Lord said to Moses, 29 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who brings a fellowship offering to the Lord is to bring part of it as their sacrifice to the Lord. 30 With their own hands they are to present the food offering to the Lord; they are to bring the fat, together with the breast, and wave the breast before the Lord as a wave offering.(X) 31 The priest shall burn the fat on the altar,(Y) but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.(Z) 32 You are to give the right thigh of your fellowship offerings to the priest as a contribution.(AA) 33 The son of Aaron who offers the blood and the fat of the fellowship offering shall have the right thigh as his share. 34 From the fellowship offerings of the Israelites, I have taken the breast that is waved and the thigh(AB) that is presented and have given them to Aaron the priest and his sons(AC) as their perpetual share from the Israelites.’”

35 This is the portion of the food offerings presented to the Lord that were allotted to Aaron and his sons on the day they were presented to serve the Lord as priests. 36 On the day they were anointed,(AD) the Lord commanded that the Israelites give this to them as their perpetual share for the generations to come.

37 These, then, are the regulations for the burnt offering,(AE) the grain offering,(AF) the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering(AG) and the fellowship offering, 38 which the Lord gave Moses(AH) at Mount Sinai(AI) in the Desert of Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to the Lord.(AJ)
