14 “This is the rule of the grain offering: The sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, in front of the altar.(A) 15 They shall take from it a handful of the choice flour and oil of the grain offering, with all the frankincense that is on the offering, and they shall turn its memorial portion into smoke on the altar as a pleasing odor to the Lord. 16 Aaron and his sons shall eat what is left of it; it shall be eaten as unleavened cakes in a holy place; in the court of the tent of meeting they shall eat it.(B) 17 It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their portion of my offerings by fire;[a] it is most holy, like the purification offering and the guilt offering.(C) 18 Every male among the descendants of Aaron shall eat of it, as their perpetual due throughout your generations, from the Lord’s offerings by fire;[b] anything that touches them shall become holy.”(D)

19 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 20 “This is the offering that Aaron and his sons shall offer to the Lord on the day when he is anointed: one-tenth of an ephah of choice flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening.(E) 21 It shall be made with oil on a griddle; you shall bring it well soaked, as a grain offering of baked[c] pieces, and you shall present it as a pleasing odor to the Lord.(F) 22 And so the priest, anointed from among Aaron’s descendants as a successor, shall prepare it; it is the Lord’s—a perpetual due—to be turned entirely into smoke. 23 Every grain offering of a priest shall be wholly burned; it shall not be eaten.”

The Grain Offering

14 “Now this is the law of the grain offering:(A) Aaron’s sons will present it before the Lord in front of the altar. 15 The priest is to remove a handful of fine flour and olive oil from the grain offering, with all the frankincense that is on the offering, and burn its memorial portion on the altar as a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 16 Aaron and his sons may eat the rest of it.(B) It is to be eaten in the form of unleavened bread(C) in a holy place;(D) they are to eat it in the courtyard(E) of the tent of meeting. 17 It must not be baked with yeast; I have assigned it as their portion(F) from My fire offerings.(G) It is especially holy, like the sin offering(H) and the restitution offering. 18 Any male among Aaron’s descendants(I) may eat it. It is a permanent portion[a](J) throughout your generations from the fire offerings to the Lord. Anything that touches the offerings will become holy.”(K)

19 The Lord spoke to Moses: 20 “This is the offering that Aaron and his sons must present to the Lord on the day that he is anointed: two quarts[b] of fine flour as a regular[c] grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening. 21 It is to be prepared with oil on a griddle; you are to bring it well-kneaded. You must present it as a grain offering of baked pieces,[d] a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 22 The priest, who is one of Aaron’s sons and will be anointed to take his place, is to prepare it. It must be completely burned as a permanent portion for the Lord. 23 Every grain offering for a priest will be a whole burnt offering;(L) it is not to be eaten.”

The Grain Offering

14 “‘These are the regulations for the grain offering:(A) Aaron’s sons are to bring it before the Lord, in front of the altar. 15 The priest is to take a handful of the finest flour and some olive oil, together with all the incense(B) on the grain offering,(C) and burn the memorial[a] portion(D) on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 16 Aaron and his sons(E) shall eat the rest(F) of it, but it is to be eaten without yeast(G) in the sanctuary area;(H) they are to eat it in the courtyard(I) of the tent of meeting.(J) 17 It must not be baked with yeast; I have given it as their share(K) of the food offerings presented to me.(L) Like the sin offering[b] and the guilt offering, it is most holy.(M) 18 Any male descendant of Aaron may eat it.(N) For all generations to come(O) it is his perpetual share(P) of the food offerings presented to the Lord. Whatever touches them will become holy.[c](Q)’”

It is the Lord’s perpetual share and is to be burned completely.(X) 23 Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned completely; it must not be eaten.”
