² The cities ^[a]of ^(A)Aroer are forsaken;
They will be for ^(B)flocks, and they will lie down in them;
And there will be ^(C)no one to cause them to tremble.

⁴ And each of them will ^(A)sit under his vine
And under his fig tree,
With ^(B)no one to make them tremble,
For the ^(C)mouth of Yahweh of hosts has spoken.

¹³ The ^(A)remnant of Israel will ^(B)do no injustice
And ^(C)not speak falsehood,
Nor will a deceitful tongue
Be found in their mouths;
For they will ^(D)feed and lie down
With no one to make them tremble.”
