16 then I will do this to you: I will bring on you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever(A) that will destroy your sight and sap your strength.(B) You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it.(C) 17 I will set my face(D) against you so that you will be defeated(E) by your enemies;(F) those who hate you will rule over you,(G) and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.(H)
18 “‘If after all this you will not listen to me,(I) I will punish(J) you for your sins seven times over.(K)

16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
