The Year to Honor the Lord
25 The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, 2 “Tell the Israelites: When you come into the land I’m giving you, the land will celebrate a year to honor the Lord. 3 Then, for six years you may plant crops in your fields, prune your vineyards, and gather what they produce. 4 However, the seventh year will be a festival year for the land. It will be a year to honor the Lord. Don’t plant crops in your fields or prune your vineyards. 5 Don’t harvest what grows by itself or harvest grapes from your vines. That year will be a festival for the land. 6 Whatever the land produces during that year is for all of you to eat—for you, your male and female slaves, your hired workers, foreigners among you, 7 your animals and the wild animals in your land. Everything the land produces will be yours to eat.
The Jubilee for the Land
8 “Count seven of these years seven times for a total of 49 years. 9 On the tenth day of the seventh month, the special day for the payment for sin, sound rams’ horns throughout the country. 10 Set apart the fiftieth year as holy, and proclaim liberty to everyone living in the land. This is your jubilee year. Every slave will be freed in order to return to his property and to his family. 11 That fiftieth year will be your jubilee year. Don’t plant or harvest what grows by itself or pick grapes from the vines in the land. 12 The jubilee ⌞year⌟ will be holy to you. You will eat what the field itself produces.
13 “In this jubilee year every slave will be freed in order to return to his property. 14 If you sell anything to your neighbor or buy anything from him, don’t take advantage of him. 15 When you buy property from your neighbor, take into account the number of years since the jubilee. Your neighbor must sell it to you taking into account the number of crops ⌞until the next jubilee⌟. 16 If there are still many years ⌞until the jubilee⌟, you will pay more for it. If there are only a few years ⌞until the jubilee⌟, you will pay less for it because he is selling you only the number of crops. 17 Never take advantage of each other. Fear your God, because I am the Lord your God.
18 “Obey my laws, and carefully follow my rules. Then you will live securely in the land. 19 The land will give you its products, and you will eat all you want and live there securely. 20 You may ask, ‘What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or bring in our crops?’ 21 I will give you my blessing in the sixth year so that the land will produce enough for three years. 22 You will plant ⌞again⌟ in the eighth year but live on what the land already produced. You will eat it, even in the ninth year, until the land produces more.
23 “Land must never be sold permanently, because the land is mine. To me you are strangers without permanent homes. 24 People must always have the right to buy their property back. 25 If your brother becomes poor and sells some of his property, then the one who can assume responsibility, his nearest relative, must buy back what he sold. 26 If a man doesn’t have anyone to buy it back for him, but if he prospers and earns enough to buy it back himself, 27 he must count the years from its sale. Then he will pay what is left to the man to whom he sold it, and it will be his property again. 28 However, if he cannot earn enough to buy it back, what he sold stays in the hands of the buyer until the year of jubilee. In the jubilee it will be released, and he will own it again.
29 “If anyone sells a home in a walled city, for one year after selling it he has the right to buy it back. He may buy it back only within that time. 30 If he does not buy it back during that year, the house in the city belongs to the buyer for generations to come. It will not be released in the jubilee. 31 However, houses in villages without walls are regarded as belonging to the fields of the land. They can be bought back. They will be released in the jubilee.
32 “The Levites always have the right to buy back their property in the cities they own. 33 If any Levite buys back ⌞a house⌟, in the jubilee the purchased house in the city will be released, because the houses in the Levite cities are their property among the Israelites. 34 But a field that belongs to their cities must not be sold, because it is their permanent property.
The Jubilee for the People
35 “If an Israelite becomes poor and cannot support himself, help him. He must live with you as a stranger without a permanent home. 36 Don’t collect interest or make any profit from him. Fear your God by respecting other Israelites’ lives. 37 Never collect any kind of interest on your money or on the food you give them. 38 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you Canaan and to be your God.
39 “If an Israelite becomes poor and sells himself to you, don’t work him like a slave. 40 He will be like a hired worker or a visitor to you. He may work with you until the year of jubilee. 41 Then you will release him and his children to go back to their family and the property of their ancestors. 42 They are my servants. I brought them out of Egypt. They must never be sold as slaves. 43 Do not treat them harshly. Fear your God.
44 “You may have male and female slaves, but buy them from the nations around you. 45 You may also buy them from the foreigners living among you and from their families born in your country. They will be your property. 46 You may acquire them for yourselves and for your descendants as permanent property. You may work them as slaves. However, do not treat the Israelites harshly. They are your relatives.
47 “Someone who is a foreigner without a permanent home among you may become rich, and your relative living with him may be poor. The poor Israelite may sell himself to that foreigner or a member of his family. 48 After he has sold himself, he has the right to be bought back. One of his brothers may buy him back. 49 His uncle, his cousin, or some other relative could also buy him back. If he becomes rich, he could buy his own freedom. 50 Then he and his buyer must take into account the number of years from the year he was bought until the year of jubilee. His sale price will be adjusted based on the number of years he was with his buyer, like the wages of a hired worker. 51 If there are many years left, he must refund from his purchase price an amount equal ⌞to those years⌟. 52 If there are only a few years left until the year of jubilee, he must take them into account. He must refund from his purchase price an amount equal to those years. 53 During those years he should serve his buyer as a hired worker. His buyer should not treat him harshly. 54 If he cannot buy his freedom in these ways, he and his children will be released in the year of jubilee.
55 “The Israelites belong to me as servants. They are my servants. I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.”

The Sabbath Year
25 (A)The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into (B)the land that I give you, the land shall keep a Sabbath to the Lord. 3 For six years you shall sow your field, and for six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its fruits, 4 but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to the Lord. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard. 5 (C)You shall not reap what grows of itself in your harvest, or gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It shall be a year of solemn rest for the land. 6 The Sabbath of the land[a] shall provide food for you, for yourself and for your male and female slaves[b] and for your hired worker and the sojourner who lives with you, 7 and for your cattle and for the wild animals that are in your land: (D)all its yield shall be for food.
The Year of Jubilee
8 “You shall count seven weeks[c] of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall sound (E)the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. (F)On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and (G)proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of (H)you shall return to his clan. 11 That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it (I)you shall neither sow nor reap (J)what grows of itself nor gather the grapes from the undressed vines. 12 For it is a jubilee. It shall be holy to you. (K)You may eat the produce of the field.[d]
13 (L)“In this year of jubilee each of you shall return to his property. 14 And if you make a sale to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor, (M)you shall not wrong one another. 15 (N)You shall pay your neighbor according to the number of years after the jubilee, and he shall sell to you according to the number of years for crops. 16 If the years are many, you shall increase the price, and if the years are few, you shall reduce the price, for it is the number of the crops that he is selling to you. 17 (O)You shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God, for I am the Lord your God.
18 (P)“Therefore you shall do my statutes and keep my rules and perform them, and then (Q)you will dwell in the land securely. 19 (R)The land will yield its fruit, and (S)you will eat your fill (T)and dwell in it securely. 20 And if you say, (U)‘What shall we eat in the seventh year, if (V)we may not sow or gather in our crop?’ 21 I will (W)command my blessing on you in the sixth year, so that it will produce a crop sufficient for three years. 22 (X)When you sow in the eighth year, you will be eating some of (Y)the old crop; you shall eat the old until the ninth year, when its crop arrives.
Redemption of Property
23 “The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for (Z)the land is mine. For you are strangers and sojourners with me. 24 And in all the country you possess, you shall allow a redemption of the land.
25 “If your brother becomes poor and sells part of his property, (AA)then his nearest redeemer shall come and redeem what his brother has sold. 26 If a man has no one to redeem it and then himself becomes prosperous and finds sufficient means to redeem it, 27 let (AB)him calculate the years since he sold it and pay back the balance to the man to whom he sold it, and then return to his property. 28 But if he does not have sufficient means to recover it, then what he sold shall remain in the hand of the buyer until the year of jubilee. In the jubilee it shall (AC)be released, and (AD)he shall return to his property.
29 “If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, he may redeem it within a year of its sale. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption. 30 If it is not redeemed within a full year, then the house in the walled city shall belong in perpetuity to the buyer, throughout his generations; (AE)it shall not be released in the jubilee. 31 But the houses of the villages that have no wall around them shall be classified with the fields of the land. They may be redeemed, and (AF)they shall be released in the jubilee. 32 As for (AG)the cities of the Levites, the Levites may redeem at any time the houses in the cities they possess. 33 And if one of the Levites exercises his right of redemption, then the house that was sold in a city they possess shall be released in the jubilee. For the houses in the cities of the Levites are their possession among the people of Israel. 34 But the fields (AH)of pastureland belonging to their cities may not be sold, for that is their possession forever.
Kindness for Poor Brothers
35 “If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, (AI)you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. 36 (AJ)Take no interest from him or profit, but (AK)fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. 37 (AL)You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit. 38 (AM)I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
39 (AN)“If your brother becomes poor beside you and sells himself to you, you shall not make him serve as a slave: 40 he shall be with you as a hired worker and as a sojourner. He shall serve with you until the year of the jubilee. 41 (AO)Then he shall go out from you, (AP)he and his children with him, and go back to his own clan and return (AQ)to the possession of his fathers. 42 For they are (AR)my servants,[e] whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves. 43 (AS)You shall not rule over him (AT)ruthlessly but (AU)shall fear your God. 44 As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. 45 (AV)You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. 46 You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel (AW)you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly.
Redeeming a Poor Man
47 “If a stranger or sojourner with you becomes rich, and (AX)your brother beside him becomes poor and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner with you or to a member of the stranger's clan, 48 then after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him, 49 or his uncle or his cousin may (AY)redeem him, or a close relative from his clan may redeem him. Or if he (AZ)grows rich he may redeem himself. 50 He shall calculate with his buyer from the year when he sold himself to him until the year of jubilee, and the price of his sale shall vary with the number of years. The time he was with his owner shall be (BA)rated as the time of a hired worker. 51 If there are still many years left, he shall pay proportionately for his redemption some of his sale price. 52 If there remain but a few years until the year of jubilee, he shall calculate and pay for his redemption in proportion to his years of service. 53 He shall treat him as a worker hired year by year. (BB)He shall not rule ruthlessly over him in your sight. 54 And if he is not redeemed by these means, then (BC)he and his children with him shall be released in the year of jubilee. 55 For it is (BD)to me that the people of Israel are servants.[f] They are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

25 Jehová habló a Moisés en el monte de Sinaí, diciendo: 2 Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra que yo os doy, la tierra guardará reposo para Jehová. 3 Seis años sembrarás tu tierra, y seis años podarás tu viña y recogerás sus frutos. 4 Pero el séptimo año la tierra tendrá descanso, reposo para Jehová; no sembrarás tu tierra, ni podarás tu viña. 5 Lo que de suyo naciere en tu tierra segada, no lo segarás, y las uvas de tu viñedo no vendimiarás; año de reposo será para la tierra. 6 Mas el descanso de la tierra te dará para comer a ti, a tu siervo, a tu sierva, a tu criado, y a tu extranjero que morare contigo; 7 y a tu animal, y a la bestia que hubiere en tu tierra, será todo el fruto de ella para comer.(A)
8 Y contarás siete semanas de años, siete veces siete años, de modo que los días de las siete semanas de años vendrán a serte cuarenta y nueve años. 9 Entonces harás tocar fuertemente la trompeta en el mes séptimo a los diez días del mes; el día de la expiación haréis tocar la trompeta por toda vuestra tierra. 10 Y santificaréis el año cincuenta, y pregonaréis libertad en la tierra a todos sus moradores; ese año os será de jubileo, y volveréis cada uno a vuestra posesión, y cada cual volverá a su familia. 11 El año cincuenta os será jubileo; no sembraréis, ni segaréis lo que naciere de suyo en la tierra, ni vendimiaréis sus viñedos, 12 porque es jubileo; santo será a vosotros; el producto de la tierra comeréis.
13 En este año de jubileo volveréis cada uno a vuestra posesión. 14 Y cuando vendiereis algo a vuestro prójimo, o comprareis de mano de vuestro prójimo, no engañe ninguno a su hermano. 15 Conforme al número de los años después del jubileo comprarás de tu prójimo; conforme al número de los años de los frutos te venderá él a ti. 16 Cuanto mayor fuere el número de los años, aumentarás el precio, y cuanto menor fuere el número, disminuirás el precio; porque según el número de las cosechas te venderá él. 17 Y no engañe ninguno a su prójimo, sino temed a vuestro Dios; porque yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
18 Ejecutad, pues, mis estatutos y guardad mis ordenanzas, y ponedlos por obra, y habitaréis en la tierra seguros; 19 y la tierra dará su fruto, y comeréis hasta saciaros, y habitaréis en ella con seguridad. 20 Y si dijereis: ¿Qué comeremos el séptimo año? He aquí no hemos de sembrar, ni hemos de recoger nuestros frutos; 21 entonces yo os enviaré mi bendición el sexto año, y ella hará que haya fruto por tres años. 22 Y sembraréis el año octavo, y comeréis del fruto añejo; hasta el año noveno, hasta que venga su fruto, comeréis del añejo. 23 La tierra no se venderá a perpetuidad, porque la tierra mía es; pues vosotros forasteros y extranjeros sois para conmigo. 24 Por tanto, en toda la tierra de vuestra posesión otorgaréis rescate a la tierra.
25 Cuando tu hermano empobreciere, y vendiere algo de su posesión, entonces su pariente más próximo vendrá y rescatará lo que su hermano hubiere vendido. 26 Y cuando el hombre no tuviere rescatador, y consiguiere lo suficiente para el rescate, 27 entonces contará los años desde que vendió, y pagará lo que quedare al varón a quien vendió, y volverá a su posesión. 28 Mas si no consiguiere lo suficiente para que se la devuelvan, lo que vendió estará en poder del que lo compró hasta el año del jubileo; y al jubileo saldrá, y él volverá a su posesión.
29 El varón que vendiere casa de habitación en ciudad amurallada, tendrá facultad de redimirla hasta el término de un año desde la venta; un año será el término de poderse redimir. 30 Y si no fuere rescatada dentro de un año entero, la casa que estuviere en la ciudad amurallada quedará para siempre en poder de aquel que la compró, y para sus descendientes; no saldrá en el jubileo. 31 Mas las casas de las aldeas que no tienen muro alrededor serán estimadas como los terrenos del campo; podrán ser rescatadas, y saldrán en el jubileo. 32 Pero en cuanto a las ciudades de los levitas, estos podrán rescatar en cualquier tiempo las casas en las ciudades de su posesión. 33 Y el que comprare de los levitas saldrá de la casa vendida, o de la ciudad de su posesión, en el jubileo, por cuanto las casas de las ciudades de los levitas son la posesión de ellos entre los hijos de Israel. 34 Mas la tierra del ejido de sus ciudades no se venderá, porque es perpetua posesión de ellos.
35 Y cuando tu hermano empobreciere y se acogiere a ti, tú lo ampararás; como forastero y extranjero vivirá contigo.(B) 36 No tomarás de él usura ni ganancia, sino tendrás temor de tu Dios, y tu hermano vivirá contigo. 37 No le darás tu dinero a usura,(C) ni tus víveres a ganancia. 38 Yo Jehová vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para daros la tierra de Canaán, para ser vuestro Dios.
39 Y cuando tu hermano empobreciere, estando contigo, y se vendiere a ti, no le harás servir como esclavo. 40 Como criado, como extranjero estará contigo; hasta el año del jubileo te servirá. 41 Entonces saldrá libre de tu casa; él y sus hijos consigo, y volverá a su familia, y a la posesión de sus padres se restituirá. 42 Porque son mis siervos, los cuales saqué yo de la tierra de Egipto; no serán vendidos a manera de esclavos. 43 No te enseñorearás de él con dureza, sino tendrás temor de tu Dios. 44 Así tu esclavo como tu esclava que tuvieres, serán de las gentes que están en vuestro alrededor; de ellos podréis comprar esclavos y esclavas. 45 También podréis comprar de los hijos de los forasteros que viven entre vosotros, y de las familias de ellos nacidos en vuestra tierra, que están con vosotros, los cuales podréis tener por posesión. 46 Y los podréis dejar en herencia para vuestros hijos después de vosotros, como posesión hereditaria; para siempre os serviréis de ellos; pero en vuestros hermanos los hijos de Israel no os enseñorearéis cada uno sobre su hermano con dureza.(D)
47 Si el forastero o el extranjero que está contigo se enriqueciere, y tu hermano que está junto a él empobreciere, y se vendiere al forastero o extranjero que está contigo, o a alguno de la familia del extranjero; 48 después que se hubiere vendido, podrá ser rescatado; uno de sus hermanos lo rescatará. 49 O su tío o el hijo de su tío lo rescatará, o un pariente cercano de su familia lo rescatará; o si sus medios alcanzaren, él mismo se rescatará. 50 Hará la cuenta con el que lo compró, desde el año que se vendió a él hasta el año del jubileo; y ha de apreciarse el precio de su venta conforme al número de los años, y se contará el tiempo que estuvo con él conforme al tiempo de un criado asalariado. 51 Si aún fueren muchos años, conforme a ellos devolverá para su rescate, del dinero por el cual se vendió. 52 Y si quedare poco tiempo hasta el año del jubileo, entonces hará un cálculo con él, y devolverá su rescate conforme a sus años. 53 Como con el tomado a salario anualmente hará con él; no se enseñoreará en él con rigor delante de tus ojos. 54 Y si no se rescatare en esos años, en el año del jubileo saldrá, él y sus hijos con él. 55 Porque mis siervos son los hijos de Israel; son siervos míos, a los cuales saqué de la tierra de Egipto. 3 шесть лет засевай поле твое и шесть лет обрезывай виноградник твой, и собирай произведения их,
4 а в седьмой год да будет суббота покоя земли, суббота Господня: поля твоего не засевай и виноградника твоего не обрезывай;
5 что само вырастет на жатве твоей, не сжинай, и гроздов с необрезанных лоз твоих не снимай; да будет это год покоя земли;
6 и будет это в продолжение субботы земли [всем] вам в пищу, тебе и рабу твоему, и рабе твоей, и наемнику твоему, и поселенцу твоему, поселившемуся у тебя;
7 и скоту твоему и зверям, которые на земле твоей, да будут все произведения ее в пищу.
8 И насчитай себе семь субботних лет, семь раз по семи лет, чтоб было у тебя в семи субботних годах сорок девять лет;
9 и воструби трубою в седьмой месяц, в десятый [день] месяца, в день очищения вострубите трубою по всей земле вашей;
10 и освятите пятидесятый год и объявите свободу на земле всем жителям ее: да будет это у вас юбилей; и возвратитесь каждый во владение свое, и каждый возвратитесь в свое племя.
11 Пятидесятый год да будет у вас юбилей: не сейте и не жните, что само вырастет на земле, и не снимайте ягод с необрезанных [лоз] ее,
12 ибо это юбилей: священным да будет он для вас; с поля ешьте произведения ее.
13 В юбилейный год возвратитесь каждый во владение свое.
14 Если будешь продавать что ближнему твоему, или будешь покупать что у ближнего твоего, не обижайте друг друга;
15 по расчислению лет после юбилея ты должен покупать у ближнего твоего, и по расчислению лет дохода он должен продавать тебе;
16 если много [остается] лет, умножь цену; а если мало лет [остается], уменьши цену, ибо известное число [лет] жатв он продает тебе.
17 Не обижайте один другого; бойся Бога твоего, ибо Я Господь, Бог ваш.
18 Исполняйте постановления Мои, и храните законы Мои и исполняйте их, и будете жить спокойно на земле;
19 и будет земля давать плод свой, и будете есть досыта, и будете жить спокойно на ней.
20 Если скажете: что же нам есть в седьмой год, когда мы не будем ни сеять, ни собирать произведений наших?
21 Я пошлю благословение Мое на вас в шестой год, и он принесет произведений на три года;
22 и будете сеять в восьмой год, но есть будете произведения старые до девятого года; доколе не поспеют произведения его, будете есть старое.
23 Землю не должно продавать навсегда, ибо Моя земля: вы пришельцы и поселенцы у Меня;
24 по всей земле владения вашего дозволяйте выкуп земли.
25 Если брат твой обеднеет и продаст от владения своего, то придет близкий его родственник и выкупит проданное братом его;
26 если же некому за него выкупить, но сам он будет иметь достаток и найдет, сколько нужно на выкуп,
27 то пусть он расчислит годы продажи своей и возвратит остальное тому, кому он продал, и вступит опять во владение свое;
28 если же не найдет рука его, сколько нужно возвратить ему, то проданное им останется в руках покупщика до юбилейного года, а в юбилейный год отойдет оно, и он опять вступит во владение свое.
29 Если кто продаст жилой дом в городе, [огражденном] стеною, то выкупить его можно до истечения года от продажи его: в течение года выкупить его можно;
30 если же не будет он выкуплен до истечения целого года, то дом, который в городе, имеющем стену, останется навсегда у купившего его в роды его, и в юбилей не отойдет [от него].
31 А домы в селениях, вокруг которых нет стены, должно считать наравне с полем земли: выкупать их можно, и в юбилей они отходят.
32 А города левитов, домы в городах владения их, левитам всегда можно выкупать;
33 а кто из левитов не выкупит, то проданный дом в городе владения их в юбилей отойдет, потому что домы в городах левитских составляют их владение среди сынов Израилевых;
34 и полей вокруг городов их продавать нельзя, потому что это вечное владение их.
35 Если брат твой обеднеет и придет в упадок у тебя, то поддержи его, пришлец ли он, или поселенец, чтоб он жил с тобою;
36 не бери от него роста и прибыли и бойся Бога твоего; чтоб жил брат твой с тобою;
37 серебра твоего не отдавай ему в рост и хлеба твоего не отдавай ему для [получения] прибыли.
38 Я Господь, Бог ваш, Который вывел вас из земли Египетской, чтобы дать вам землю Ханаанскую, чтоб быть вашим Богом.
39 Когда обеднеет у тебя брат твой и продан будет тебе, то не налагай на него работы рабской:
40 он должен быть у тебя как наемник, как поселенец; до юбилейного года пусть работает у тебя,
41 а [тогда] пусть отойдет он от тебя, сам и дети его с ним, и возвратится в племя свое, и вступит опять во владение отцов своих,
42 потому что они--Мои рабы, которых Я вывел из земли Египетской: не должно продавать их, как продают рабов;
43 не господствуй над ним с жестокостью и бойся Бога твоего.
44 А чтобы раб твой и рабыня твоя были у тебя, то покупайте себе раба и рабыню у народов, которые вокруг вас;
45 также и из детей поселенцев, поселившихся у вас, можете покупать, и из племени их, которое у вас, которое у них родилось в земле вашей, и они могут быть вашей собственностью;
46 можете передавать их в наследство и сынам вашим по себе, как имение; вечно владейте ими, как рабами. А над братьями вашими, сынами Израилевыми, друг над другом, не господствуйте с жестокостью.
47 Если пришлец или поселенец твой будет иметь достаток, а брат твой пред ним обеднеет и продастся пришельцу, поселившемуся у тебя, или кому-нибудь из племени пришельца,
48 то после продажи можно выкупить его; кто-нибудь из братьев его должен выкупить его,
49 или дядя его, или сын дяди его должен выкупить его, или кто-- нибудь из родства его, из племени его, должен выкупить его; или если будет иметь достаток, сам выкупится.
50 И он должен рассчитаться с купившим его, [начиная] от того года, когда он продал себя, до года юбилейного, и серебро, за которое он продал себя, должно отдать ему по числу лет; как временный наемник он должен быть у него;
51 и если еще много [остается] лет, то по мере их он должен отдать в выкуп за себя серебро, за которое он куплен;
52 если же мало остается лет до юбилейного года, то он должен сосчитать и по мере лет отдать за себя выкуп.
53 Он должен быть у него, как наемник, во все годы; он не должен господствовать над ним с жестокостью в глазах твоих.
54 Если же он не выкупится таким образом, то в юбилейный год отойдет сам и дети его с ним,
55 потому что сыны Израилевы Мои рабы; они Мои рабы, которых Я вывел из земли Египетской. Я Господь, Бог ваш.
