18 (A)Whoever takes an animal's life shall make it good, life for life. 19 If anyone injures his neighbor, (B)as he has done it shall be done to him, 20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever injury he has given a person shall be given to him.

18 Anyone who takes the life of someone’s animal must make restitution(A)—life for life. 19 Anyone who injures their neighbor is to be injured in the same manner: 20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth.(B) The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.
