⁴² You shall ^[a]live ^(A)in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall ^[b]live in booths, ⁴³ so that ^(B)your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’”

The Feast of Booths

¹³ “^(A)You shall ^[a]celebrate the Feast of Booths seven days after you have gathered in from your threshing floor and your wine vat;

¹⁶ “^(A)Three times in a year all your males shall appear before Yahweh your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread and at the Feast of Weeks and at the Feast of Booths, and ^(B)they shall not appear before Yahweh empty-handed.

⁴ They celebrated the ^(A)Feast of ^[a]Booths, ^(B)as it is written, and offered ^[b]the fixed number of burnt offerings daily, ^(C)according to the legal judgment, as each day required;

¹⁴ They found written in the law how Yahweh had commanded by the hand of Moses that the sons of Israel ^(A)should live in booths during the feast of the seventh month,

¹⁶ Then it will be that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will ^(A)go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the ^(B)Feast of Booths.

² Now the feast of the Jews, ^(A)the Feast of Booths, was near.
