Leviticus 23:42-44

42 You shall [a]live (A)in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall [b]live in booths, 43 so that (B)your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’” 44 So Moses spoke to the sons of Israel (C)the appointed times of Yahweh.

42 Live in temporary shelters(A) for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters 43 so your descendants will know(B) that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’”

44 So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed festivals of the Lord.
