42 All Israel's people must live in huts for seven days. 43 Your descendants in the future will know that God brought Israel's people out of Egypt. They will know that he caused them to live in huts as they travelled through the wilderness. I am the Lord, your God.’
44 Moses told the people all that the Lord had told him.

42 Live in temporary shelters(A) for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters 43 so your descendants will know(B) that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’”
44 So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed festivals of the Lord.
