Leviticus 23:31-33
English Standard Version
31 You shall not do any work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. 32 It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”

31 You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance(A) for the generations to come, wherever you live. 32 It is a day of sabbath rest(B) for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.”(C)
