25 (A)You are therefore to separate between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean; and you shall not make [a]yourselves detestable by animal or by bird or by anything [b]that creeps on the ground, which I have separated for you as unclean. 26 Thus you shall be holy to Me, for I Yahweh am holy; and I (B)have separated you from the peoples to be Mine.

25 “‘You must therefore make a distinction between clean and unclean animals and between unclean and clean birds.(A) Do not defile yourselves by any animal or bird or anything that moves along the ground—those that I have set apart as unclean for you. 26 You are to be holy to me(B) because I, the Lord, am holy,(C) and I have set you apart from the nations(D) to be my own.
