¹⁰ ‘^(A)If there is a man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, one who commits adultery with his friend’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

³⁸ Thus I will ^(A)judge you like women who commit adultery or shed blood are judged; and I will bring on you the blood of ^(B)wrath and jealousy.

²⁷ “^(A)You have heard that it was said, ‘^(B)You shall not commit adultery’; ²⁸ but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman ^(C)to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

⁵ Now in the Law ^(A)Moses commanded us to stone such women; what then do You say?”

⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that the unrighteous will not ^(B)inherit the kingdom of God? ^(C)Do not be deceived; ^(D)neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor ^[a]effeminate, nor homosexuals,

^4 (A)Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled, ^(B)for the sexually immoral and adulterers God will judge.
