When you offer a sacrifice that is a fellowship offering to the Lord, you shall offer it so that you will be accepted. It is to be eaten on the day that you offer it or on the next day, but whatever is left over on the third day is to be burned in fire. If it is eaten at all on the third day, it will be regarded as rotten meat. It is not acceptable.

“‘When you sacrifice a fellowship offering to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf. It shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it or on the next day; anything left over until the third day must be burned up.(A) If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted.(B)
