New International Version

¹⁷“‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart.^(A) Rebuke your neighbor frankly^(B) so you will not share in their guilt.

¹⁷Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

²⁰As for those who persist in sin, ^(A)rebuke them in the presence of all, ^(B)so that the rest may stand in fear.

²⁰But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove^(A) before everyone, so that the others may take warning.^(B)

²⁰Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
