^3 (A)According to ^[a]the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and ^(B)according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ^[b]ordinances.

^24 (A)‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; ^(B)for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you.

³⁰ take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’

^31 (A)You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every ^[a]abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for ^(B)they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

¹⁰ So I went in and saw, and there—every ^(A)sort of ^(B)creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, ^[a]portrayed all around on the walls.
