6 The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and (A)offer up the fat in smoke as a soothing aroma to the Lord. 7 And (B)they shall no longer offer their sacrifices to the [a]goat demons with which they play the prostitute. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations.”’
8 “Then you shall say to them, ‘Anyone from the house of Israel, or from the strangers who reside among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

6 The priest is to splash the blood against the altar(A) of the Lord(B) at the entrance to the tent of meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(C) 7 They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols[a](D) to whom they prostitute themselves.(E) This is to be a lasting ordinance(F) for them and for the generations to come.’(G)
