7 He will take the two goats and set them before the Lord at the door of the meeting tent. 8 Aaron will draw names for the two goats, choosing one for the Lord and the other to be sent away. 9 Then Aaron will bring the goat that was chosen for the Lord and give it as a sin gift.

7 Then he is to take the two goats and present them before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 8 He is to cast lots(A) for the two goats—one lot for the Lord and the other for the scapegoat.[a](B) 9 Aaron shall bring the goat whose lot falls to the Lord and sacrifice it for a sin offering.
