²⁶ The one who released the goat as the ^[a]scapegoat ^(A)shall wash his clothes and bathe his ^[b]body with water; then afterward he shall come into the camp.

²⁸ Then the ^(A)one who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body with water, then afterward he shall come into the camp.

⁶ a ^[a]person who touches any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy gifts unless he has bathed his ^[b]body in water.
