34 If on the seventh day the evil seem to have stayed in its place, and not lower than the other flesh, he shall cleanse him, and his clothes being washed he shall be clean.

35 But if after his cleansing the spot spread again in the skin,

36 He shall seek no more whether the hair be turned yellow, because he is evidently unclean.

34 On the seventh day the priest is to examine the sore,(A) and if it has not spread in the skin and appears to be no more than skin deep, the priest shall pronounce them clean. They must wash their clothes, and they will be clean.(B) 35 But if the sore does spread in the skin after they are pronounced clean, 36 the priest is to examine them, and if he finds that the sore has spread in the skin, he does not need to look for yellow hair; they are unclean.(C)
