10 If a person’s offering for a whole burnt offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, he shall present a male without blemish. 11 He shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar in the presence of the Lord. Then Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall splash its blood against all sides of the altar. 12 When he has cut it into sections, together with its head and its fat, the priest is to lay them out on the wood that is on the fire on the altar.

10 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep(A) or the goats,(B) you are to offer a male without defect. 11 You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar(C) before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.(D) 12 You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat,(E) on the wood that is burning on the altar.
