8 Domnul i-a zis lui Moise: 2 „Ia-i pe Aaron şi pe fiii lui, adu veşmintele, untdelemnul pentru ungere, viţelul jertfei pentru păcat, doi berbeci şi coşul cu azime 3 şi convoacă întreaga adunare la intrarea în Cortul Întâlnirii.“ 4 Moise a făcut aşa cum i-a poruncit Domnul. Când adunarea s-a prezentat la intrarea Cortului Întâlnirii, 5 Moise i-a zis: „Iată cum a poruncit Domnul să se facă.“
6 Mai întâi, Moise i-a adus pe Aaron şi pe fiii săi şi i-a spălat cu apă. 7 L-a îmbrăcat pe Aaron cu tunica, l-a încins cu brâul, l-a îmbrăcat cu mantia, a pus pe el efodul şi l-a încins cu brâul efodului, ţesut cu măiestrie, legând astfel efodul de el. 8 I-a pus pieptarul, iar în pieptar a pus Urimul şi Tumimul[a]. 9 I-a pus mitra pe cap, iar pe mitră, în faţă, a fixat plăcuţa de aur, sfânta cunună, aşa cum îi poruncise Domnul.
10 Apoi Moise a luat untdelemnul pentru ungere şi a uns Tabernaculul cu tot ce este în el, sfinţindu-l. 11 A stropit din el de şapte ori pe altar, a uns altarul cu toate uneltele lui, precum şi ligheanul cu piedestalul lui, ca să sfinţească totul. 12 A turnat din untdelemnul pentru ungere pe capul lui Aaron şi l-a uns ca să-l sfinţească. 13 Moise i-a adus şi pe fiii lui Aaron, i-a îmbrăcat cu tunicile, i-a încins cu brâiele şi le-a pus scufiile, aşa cum îi poruncise Domnul.
14 După aceea a adus viţelul jertfei pentru păcat. Aaron şi fiii săi şi-au pus mâinile pe capul viţelului pentru jertfă, 15 după care Moise a înjunghiat viţelul, a luat din sânge cu degetul şi a uns cu el coarnele altarului, curăţind astfel altarul. Apoi a turnat restul sângelui la baza altarului. Aşa l-a sfinţit, făcând ispăşire pentru el. 16 Moise a luat toată grăsimea de pe măruntaie, membrana ficatului şi cei doi rinichi cu grăsimea de pe ei şi le-a ars pe altar. 17 Resturile viţelului, adică pielea, carnea şi balega, le-a ars în foc în afara taberei, aşa cum îi poruncise Domnul.
18 Apoi a adus berbecul pentru arderea de tot. Aaron şi fiii săi şi-au pus mâinile pe capul berbecului, 19 iar Moise l-a înjunghiat şi a stropit sângele pe altar, de jur împrejur. 20 După ce a tăiat berbecul în bucăţi, Moise i-a ars capul, bucăţile şi grăsimea. 21 După ce a spălat cu apă măruntaiele şi picioarele, Moise a ars tot berbecul pe altar ca o ardere de tot de o aromă plăcută, o jertfă mistuită de foc pentru Domnul, aşa cum îi poruncise El.
22 După aceea, a adus şi al doilea berbec, berbecul pentru jertfa în vederea învestirii în slujire. Aaron şi fiii săi şi-au pus mâinile pe capul berbecului, 23 iar Moise l-a înjunghiat, a luat din sânge şi a uns lobul urechii drepte a lui Aaron, degetul mare al mâinii lui drepte şi degetul mare al piciorului lui drept. 24 Apoi au fost aduşi fiii lui Aaron. 30 După aceea, Moise a luat din untdelemnul pentru ungere şi din sângele de pe altar, după care l-a stropit pe Aaron şi veşmintele sale şi, de asemenea, pe fiii săi şi veşmintele lor. 31 Moise le-a zis lui Aaron şi fiilor săi: ,,Fierbeţi carnea la intrarea în Cortul Întâlnirii şi mâncaţi-o acolo împreună cu pâinea din coşul jertfelor folosite la învestirea în slujire, aşa cum am poruncit[b] când am zis: «S-o mănânce Aaron şi fiii săi», 32 iar ce va mai rămâne din carne şi din pâine să fie ars în foc. 33 Să nu ieşiţi dincolo de intrarea Cortului Întâlnirii timp de şapte zile, până când se vor împlini zilele învestirii voastre, căci şapte zile va dura învestirea voastră în slujire. 34 Ce s-a făcut astăzi, aşa a poruncit Domnul să se facă şi de acum încolo ca ispăşire pentru voi. 35 Să rămâneţi la intrarea Cortului Întâlnirii zi şi noapte, timp de şapte zile, şi să păziţi porunca Domnului ca să nu muriţi, căci aşa mi s-a poruncit.“ 36 Aaron şi fiii săi au făcut toate lucrurile pe care Domnul le-a poruncit prin Moise.

Aaron and His Sons Consecrated(A)
8 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 (B)“Take Aaron and his sons with him, and (C)the garments, (D)the anointing oil, a (E)bull as the sin offering, two (F)rams, and a basket of unleavened bread; 3 and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.”
4 So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 5 And Moses said to the congregation, “This is what the Lord commanded to be done.”
6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and (G)washed them with water. 7 And he (H)put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the intricately woven band of the ephod, and with it tied the ephod on him. 8 Then he put the breastplate on him, and he (I)put the [a]Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate. 9 (J)And he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 (K)Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them. 11 He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to [b]consecrate them. 12 And he (L)poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.
13 (M)Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put [c]hats on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
14 (N)And he brought the bull for the sin offering. Then Aaron and his sons (O)laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering, 15 and Moses killed it. (P)Then he took the blood, and put some on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and purified the altar. And he poured the blood at the base of the altar, and consecrated it, to make [d]atonement for it. 16 (Q)Then he took all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar. 17 But the bull, its hide, its flesh, and its offal, he burned with fire outside the camp, as the Lord (R)had commanded Moses.
18 (S)Then he brought the ram as the burnt offering. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, 19 and Moses killed it. Then he sprinkled the blood all around on the altar. 20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses (T)burned the head, the pieces, and the fat. 21 Then he washed the entrails and the legs in water. And Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a [e]sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord, (U)as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22 And (V)he brought the second ram, the ram of consecration. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram, 23 and Moses killed it. Also he took some of (W)its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. 24 Then he brought Aaron’s sons. And Moses put some of the (X)blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood all around on the altar. 25 (Y)Then he took the fat and the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh; 26 (Z)and from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord he took one unleavened cake, a cake of bread anointed with oil, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and on the right thigh; 27 and he put all these (AA)in Aaron’s hands and in his sons’ hands, and waved them as a wave offering before the Lord. 28 (AB)Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar, on the burnt offering. They were consecration offerings for a sweet aroma. That was an offering made by fire to the Lord. 29 And (AC)Moses took the (AD)breast and waved it as a wave offering before the Lord. It was Moses’ (AE)part of the ram of consecration, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30 Then (AF)Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
31 And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, (AG)“Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecration offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’ 32 (AH)What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire. 33 And you shall not go outside the door of the tabernacle of meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration are ended. For (AI)seven days he shall consecrate you. 34 (AJ)As he has done this day, so the Lord has commanded to do, to make atonement for you. 35 Therefore you shall stay at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night for seven days, and (AK)keep the [f]charge of the Lord, so that you may not die; for so I have been commanded.” 36 So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

Vestiu-os com as túnicas, amarrou neles o cinturão e pôs-lhes na cabeça o turbante especial, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado.
14 Então Moisés apresentou o novilho para a oferta pelo pecado. Arão e seus filhos colocaram as mãos sobre a cabeça do novilho, 15 e Moisés o matou. Pegou um pouco do sangue e, com o dedo, colocou-o nas quatro pontas do altar, a fim de purificá-lo. O restante do sangue ele derramou na base do altar. Desse modo, consagrou o altar e fez expiação por ele.[a] 16 Depois, pegou toda a gordura que envolvia os órgãos internos, o lóbulo do fígado, os dois rins e a gordura ao redor deles e os queimou no altar. 17 Pegou o restante do novilho, incluindo o couro, a carne e os excrementos, e o queimou num fogo fora do acampamento, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado.
18 Então Moisés apresentou o carneiro para o holocausto. Arão e seus filhos colocaram as mãos sobre a cabeça do animal, 19 e Moisés o matou. Pegou o sangue do carneiro e o derramou em todos os lados do altar. 20 Cortou o carneiro em pedaços e o queimou no altar, junto com a cabeça e a gordura. 21 Depois de lavar os órgãos internos e as pernas com água, queimou todo o carneiro sobre o altar como holocausto. Foi um aroma agradável, uma oferta especial apresentada ao Senhor, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado.
22 Então Moisés apresentou o outro carneiro, o carneiro da consagração. Arão e seus filhos colocaram as mãos sobre a cabeça do animal, 23 e Moisés o matou. Essa foi a oferta de consagração. Foi um aroma agradável, uma oferta especial apresentada ao Senhor. 29 Moisés pegou o peito e o moveu para o alto como oferta especial para o Senhor. Era a porção de Moisés do carneiro da consagração, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado.
30 Então Moisés pegou um pouco do óleo da unção e um pouco do sangue que estava sobre o altar e aspergiu sobre Arão e suas roupas e sobre seus filhos e suas roupas. Desse modo, consagrou Arão, seus filhos e suas roupas.
31 Por fim, Moisés disse a Arão e a seus filhos: “Cozinhem o restante da carne das ofertas à entrada da tenda do encontro e comam-na ali, junto com os pães que estão no cesto de ofertas para a consagração, conforme ordenei quando disse: ‘Arão e seus filhos os comerão’. 32 Queimem qualquer carne ou pão que sobrar. 33 Não saiam da entrada da tenda do encontro por sete dias, pois só então estará concluída a cerimônia de consagração. 34 Tudo que fizemos hoje foi ordenado pelo Senhor a fim de fazer expiação por vocês. 35 Agora, permaneçam à entrada da tenda do encontro dia e noite por sete dias e cumpram todas as exigências do Senhor. Se não o fizerem, morrerão, pois foi isso que o Senhor me ordenou”. 36 Arão e seus filhos fizeram tudo que o Senhor tinha ordenado por meio de Moisés.
