26 «Non vi farete idoli, non vi erigerete immagini scolpite o alcuna stele e non collocherete nel vostro paese alcuna pietra ornata di figure, per prostrarvi davanti ad essa; poiché io sono l'Eterno, il vostro DIO.
2 Osserverete i miei sabati e porterete rispetto al mio santuario. Io sono l'Eterno.
3 Se vi comportate secondo i miei statuti osservate i miei comandamenti, e li mettete in pratica,
4 io vi darò le piogge nella loro stagione la terra darà i suoi prodotti e gli alberi della campagna daranno i loro frutti.
5 La trebbiatura durerà fino alla vendemmia e la vendemmia durerà fino alla semina; mangerete a sazietà il vostro pane e abiterete al sicuro nel vostro paese.
6 Io farò regnare la pace nel paese; vi coricherete e nessuno vi spaventerà; farò sparire dal paese le bestie cattive e la spada non passerà per il vostro paese.
7 Voi inseguirete i vostri nemici, ed essi cadranno davanti a voi trafitti dalla spada.
8 Cinque di voi ne inseguiranno cento, cento di voi ne inseguiranno diecimila, e i vostri nemici cadranno davanti a voi trafitti dalla spada.
9 Io mi volgerò verso di voi, vi renderò fecondi e vi moltiplicherò, e confermerò il mio patto con voi.
10 Voi mangerete del vecchio raccolto, conservato a lungo e sgombrerete il vecchio per far posto al nuovo.
11 lo stabilirò la mia dimora in mezzo a voi e non vi rigetterò.
12 Camminerò tra di voi e sarò il vostro DIO, e voi sarete il mio popolo.
13 lo sono l'Eterno, il vostro DIO, che vi ho fatto uscire dal paese d'Egitto, perché non foste più loro schiavi; ho spezzato il vostro giogo e vi ho fatto camminare la testa alta.
14 Ma se non mi date ascolto e se non mettete in pratica tutti questi comandamenti,
15 Se disprezzate i miei statuti e l'anima vostra rigetta i miei decreti, non mettendo in pratica tutti i miei comandamenti e rompendo il mio patto,
16 a mia volta, farò questo a voi: manderò contro di voi il terrore, la consunzione e la febbre, che vi consumerà gli occhi e farà languire la vostra vita; e seminerete invano la vostra semente, perché la mangeranno i vostri nemici.
17 Volgerò la mia faccia contro di voi e voi sarete sconfitti dai vostri nemici; quei che vi odiano vi domineranno, e vi darete alla fuga senza che alcuno vi insegua.
18 E se neppure dopo questo mi darete ascolto, io vi castigherò sette volte di più per i vostri peccati.
19 Spezzerò l'orgoglio della vostra forza, renderò il vostro cielo come ferro e la vostra terra come rame.
20 La vostra forza si consumerà invano, perché la vostra terra non darà più i suoi prodotti, e gli alberi della campagna non daranno più i loro frutti.
21 E se vi comportate come miei nemici e non volete darmi ascolto io vi colpirò sette volte di più con piaghe secondo i vostri peccati.
22 Manderò contro di voi le fiere della campagna, che rapiranno i vostri figli, stermineranno il vostro bestiame, vi ridurranno a pochi e renderanno le vostre strade deserte.
23 E se nonostante queste cose non vi correggete per tornare a me, ma con la vostra condotta
24 vi comportate come miei nemici, anch'io diventerò nemico vostro, e vi colpirò sette volte di più per i vostri peccati.
25 E farò venire contro di voi la spada che eseguirà la vendetta del mio patto; voi vi raccoglierete nelle vostre città, ma io manderò in mezzo a voi la peste e sarete dati in mano al nemico.
26 Quando vi toglierò il sostentamento del pane, dieci donne cuoceranno il vostro pane in uno stesso forno e razioneranno il vostro pane, distribuendolo a peso; voi mangerete, ma non vi sazierete.
27 E se nonostante tutto questo non mi darete ascolto, ma vi comporterete da miei nemici,
28 anch'io diventerò vostro nemico pieno d'ira e vi castigherò sette volte di più per i vostri peccati.
29 Mangerete la carne dei vostri figli e mangerete la carne delle vostre figlie.
30 Io distruggerò i vostri alti luoghi, abbatterò i vostri idoli e getterò i vostri cadaveri sulle sagome senza vita dei vostri idoli; e vi detesterò.
31 Ridurrò le vostre città in deserti, devasterò i vostri luoghi sacri e non aspirerò più l'odore soave dei vostri profumi.
32 Devasterò il paese; e i vostri nemici che vi abiteranno rimarranno sbalorditi.
33 Disperderò voi fra le nazioni e trarrò fuori la spada contro di voi; il vostro paese sarà desolato e le vostre città saranno deserte.
34 Allora la terra godrà i suoi sabati per tutto il tempo in cui rimarrà desolata e voi sarete nel paese dei vostri nemici; così la terra si riposerà e godrà i suoi sabati.
35 Per tutto il tempo che rimarrà desolata avrà il riposo che non ebbe nei vostri sabati, quando voi l'abitavate.
36 A quelli di voi che scamperanno infonderò nel cuore sgomento nel paese dei loro nemici: il fruscìo di una foglia agitata li metterà in fuga; fuggiranno come si fugge davanti alla spada e cadranno senza che alcuno li insegua.
37 Inciamperanno l'uno nell'altro, come davanti alla spada, senza che alcuno li insegua; e non potrete resistere davanti ai vostri nemici.
38 Perirete fra le nazioni e il paese dei vostri nemici vi divorerà.
39 I superstiti tra di voi si struggeranno a motivo della loro iniquità nel paese dei loro nemici; e si struggeranno pure a motivo delle iniquità dei loro padri.
40 Ma se confesseranno la loro iniquità e l'iniquità dei loro padri, nelle trasgressioni che commisero contro di me e anche per essersi comportati come miei nemici,
41 da indurmi ad essere loro nemico e a portarli nel paese dei loro nemici; se il loro cuore incirconciso si umilierà e accetteranno la punizione della loro iniquità,
42 allora io mi ricorderò del mio patto con Giacobbe, mi ricorderò del mio patto con Isacco e del mio patto con Abrahamo e mi ricorderò del paese;
43 Poiché il paese sarà abbandonato da loro e godrà i suoi sabati, mentre rimarrà desolato senza di loro; così essi accetteranno la punizione della loro iniquità per aver disprezzato i miei decreti e aver avuto in avversione i miei statuti.
44 Nonostante tutto questo, quando saranno nel paese dei loro nemici, io non li disprezzerò e non li detesterò fino al punto di annientarli del tutto e di rompere il mio patto con loro; poiché io sono l'Eterno, il loro DIO;
45 ma per loro amore mi ricorderò del patto stabilito con i loro antenati, che feci uscire dal paese d'Egitto sotto gli occhi delle nazioni, per essere il loro DIO. Io sono l'Eterno».
46 Tali sono gli statuti, i decreti e le leggi che l'Eterno stabilì fra sé e i figli d'Israele, sul monte Sinai, per mezzo di Mosè.

26 “你们不可为自己造虚无的神明，不可竖立雕刻的偶像或柱像，也不可在你们的地上安放石像，向它跪拜，因为我是耶和华—你们的 神。 2 你们要谨守我的安息日，敬畏我的圣所。我是耶和华。
3 “你们若遵行我的律例，谨守我的诫命，实行它们， 4 我必按时降雨给你们，使地长出农作物，田野的树结出果实。 5 你们打谷物要打到摘葡萄的时候，摘葡萄要摘到播种的时候。你们要吃粮食得饱足，在你们的地上安然居住。 6 我要赐平安在地上；你们躺卧，无人惊吓。我要使你们地上的恶兽消灭，刀剑必不穿越你们的地。 7 你们要追赶仇敌，他们必倒在你们刀下。 8 你们五个人要追赶一百人，一百人要追赶一万人；仇敌必在你们面前倒在刀下。 9 我要眷顾你们，使你们生养众多，也要与你们坚立我的约。 10 你们要吃储存的陈粮，又要为新粮清理陈粮。 11 我要在你们中间立我的帐幕，我的心也不厌恶你们。 12 我要行走在你们中间，作你们的 神，你们要作我的子民。 13 我是耶和华—你们的 神，曾将你们从埃及地领出来，使你们不再作埃及人的奴仆；我曾折断你们所负的轭，使你们挺身前行。”

14 “你们若不听从我，不遵行这一切的诫命， 15 厌弃我的律例，心中厌恶我的典章，不遵行我一切的诫命，背弃了我的约， 16 我就要这样对待你们：我必使惊惶临到你们，使你们患痨病，害热病，以致眼睛失明，身体衰弱。你们要白白撒种，因为仇敌要吃尽你们所种的。 17 我要向你们变脸，使你们败在仇敌的面前。恨恶你们的必管辖你们；无人追赶，你们却要逃跑。 18 如果这样，你们还不听从我，我就要因你们的罪，加重七倍惩罚你们。 19 我必粉碎你们因势力而有的骄傲，又要使你们的天坚如铁，地硬如铜。 20 你们劳力却白费，因为你们的地没有出产，地上的树也不结果实。
21 “你们行事若与我作对，不肯听从我，我就要因你们的罪，加重七倍灾祸击打你们。 22 我要打发野地的走兽到你们中间，夺去你们的儿女，吞灭你们的牲畜，使你们人数减少，道路荒凉。
23 “如果这样，你们还不接受管教归向我，行事与我作对， 24 我就要行事与你们作对，因你们的罪，加重七倍击打你们。 25 我要使刀剑临到你们，报复你们的背约。你们若被赶入城中，我要降瘟疫在你们中间，把你们交在仇敌手中。 26 我要断绝你们粮食的供应[a]，使十个女人用一个烤炉给你们烤饼，按配给的定量秤给你们。你们要吃，却吃不饱。
27 “如果这样，你们还不听从我，行事与我作对， 28 我就要向你们发烈怒，行事与你们作对，因你们的罪，加重七倍惩罚你们。 29 你们要吃你们儿子的肉，也要吃你们女儿的肉。 30 我要摧毁你们的丘坛，砍掉你们的香坛，把你们的尸首扔在你们偶像的残骸上。我的心也必厌恶你们， 31 使你们的城镇变成废墟，你们的众圣所变荒凉，我也不闻你们芬芳的香气。 32 我要使这地变荒凉，甚至占领这地的敌人都惊讶。 33 我要把你们驱散到列国中，也要拔刀追赶你们。你们的地要成为荒凉，你们的城镇要变成废墟。
34 “当你们在敌人之地的时候，你们的地要在一切荒凉的日子重享安息；在那时候，地要休息，重享安息。 35 地在一切荒凉的日子都要安息，这是你们住在其上的时候所不能得的安息。 36 至于你们幸存的人，我要使他们在敌人之地心中惊慌，甚至风吹落叶的声音也把他们吓跑。他们要逃避，像人逃避刀剑，虽无人追赶，却要跌倒。 37 虽然无人追赶，他们却要彼此绊倒，像逃避刀剑一样。你们在仇敌面前必站立不住。 38 你们要在列国中灭亡，敌人之地要吞灭你们， 39 你们幸存的人必因自己的罪孽在敌人之地衰残，也要因祖先的罪孽衰残。
40 “他们要承认自己的罪孽和祖先的罪孽，就是背叛我，行事与我作对的过犯。 41 我也行事与他们作对，把他们遣送到敌人之地。那时，他们未受割礼的心若肯谦卑，也服了罪孽的惩罚， 42 我就要记念我与雅各的约，记念我与以撒的约，与亚伯拉罕的约；我也要记念这地。 43 地被他们离弃，因他们不在而荒凉的时候，就要重享安息。他们服了罪孽的惩罚，因为他们厌弃我的典章，心中厌恶我的律例。 44 虽然如此，当他们在敌人之地时，我却不厌弃他们，不厌恶他们，将他们全然灭绝，也不背弃我与他们的约，因为我是耶和华—他们的 神。 45 我要为他们的缘故记念我与他们祖先的约；我在列国眼前曾把他们的祖先从埃及地领出来，为要作他们的 神。我是耶和华。”
46 这些律例、典章和法度是耶和华在西奈山上藉着摩西与以色列人立的。

26 “‘Do not make idols(A) or set up an image(B) or a sacred stone(C) for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone(D) in your land to bow down before it. I am the Lord your God.
2 “‘Observe my Sabbaths(E) and have reverence for my sanctuary.(F) I am the Lord.
3 “‘If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey(G) my commands, 4 I will send you rain(H) in its season,(I) and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.(J) 5 Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want(K) and live in safety in your land.(L)
6 “‘I will grant peace in the land,(M) and you will lie down(N) and no one will make you afraid.(O) I will remove wild beasts(P) from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. 7 You will pursue your enemies,(Q) and they will fall by the sword before you. 8 Five(R) of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.(S)
9 “‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers,(T) and I will keep my covenant(U) with you. 10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.(V) 11 I will put my dwelling place[a](W) among you, and I will not abhor you.(X) 12 I will walk(Y) among you and be your God,(Z) and you will be my people.(AA) 13 I am the Lord your God,(AB) who brought you out of Egypt(AC) so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke(AD) and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
Punishment for Disobedience
14 “‘But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands,(AE) 15 and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws(AF) and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,(AG) 16 then I will do this to you: I will bring on you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever(AH) that will destroy your sight and sap your strength.(AI) You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it.(AJ) 17 I will set my face(AK) against you so that you will be defeated(AL) by your enemies;(AM) those who hate you will rule over you,(AN) and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.(AO)
18 “‘If after all this you will not listen to me,(AP) I will punish(AQ) you for your sins seven times over.(AR) 19 I will break down your stubborn pride(AS) and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze.(AT) 20 Your strength will be spent in vain,(AU) because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of your land yield their fruit.(AV)
21 “‘If you remain hostile(AW) toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over,(AX) as your sins deserve. 22 I will send wild animals(AY) against you, and they will rob you of your children, destroy your cattle and make you so few(AZ) in number that your roads will be deserted.(BA)
23 “‘If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction(BB) but continue to be hostile toward me, 24 I myself will be hostile(BC) toward you and will afflict you for your sins seven times over. 25 And I will bring the sword(BD) on you to avenge(BE) the breaking of the covenant. When you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague(BF) among you, and you will be given into enemy hands. 26 When I cut off your supply of bread,(BG) ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied.
27 “‘If in spite of this you still do not listen to me(BH) but continue to be hostile toward me, 28 then in my anger(BI) I will be hostile(BJ) toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over.(BK) 29 You will eat(BL) the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.(BM) 30 I will destroy your high places,(BN) cut down your incense altars(BO) and pile your dead bodies[b] on the lifeless forms of your idols,(BP) and I will abhor(BQ) you. 31 I will turn your cities into ruins(BR) and lay waste(BS) your sanctuaries,(BT) and I will take no delight in the pleasing aroma of your offerings.(BU) 32 I myself will lay waste the land,(BV) so that your enemies who live there will be appalled.(BW) 33 I will scatter(BX) you among the nations(BY) and will draw out my sword(BZ) and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste,(CA) and your cities will lie in ruins.(CB) 34 Then the land will enjoy its sabbath years all the time that it lies desolate(CC) and you are in the country of your enemies;(CD) then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths. 35 All the time that it lies desolate, the land will have the rest(CE) it did not have during the sabbaths you lived in it.
36 “‘As for those of you who are left, I will make their hearts so fearful in the lands of their enemies that the sound of a windblown leaf(CF) will put them to flight.(CG) They will run as though fleeing from the sword, and they will fall, even though no one is pursuing them.(CH) 37 They will stumble over one another(CI) as though fleeing from the sword, even though no one is pursuing them. So you will not be able to stand before your enemies.(CJ) 38 You will perish(CK) among the nations; the land of your enemies will devour you.(CL) 39 Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their ancestors’(CM) sins they will waste away.(CN)
40 “‘But if they will confess(CO) their sins(CP) and the sins of their ancestors(CQ)—their unfaithfulness and their hostility toward me, 41 which made me hostile(CR) toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies—then when their uncircumcised hearts(CS) are humbled(CT) and they pay(CU) for their sin, 42 I will remember my covenant with Jacob(CV) and my covenant with Isaac(CW) and my covenant with Abraham,(CX) and I will remember the land. 43 For the land will be deserted(CY) by them and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them. They will pay for their sins because they rejected(CZ) my laws and abhorred my decrees.(DA) 44 Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies,(DB) I will not reject them or abhor(DC) them so as to destroy them completely,(DD) breaking my covenant(DE) with them. I am the Lord their God. 45 But for their sake I will remember(DF) the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt(DG) in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.’”
46 These are the decrees, the laws and the regulations that the Lord established at Mount Sinai(DH) between himself and the Israelites through Moses.(DI)
