18 Anschließend verlässt Aaron das Allerheiligste, geht zum Altar des Heiligtums und befreit ihn von aller Schuld, die auf ihm lastet. Dazu streicht er etwas vom Blut des jungen Stieres und des Ziegenbocks an die Hörner des Altars. 19 Mit dem Finger sprengt er siebenmal Blut an den Altar und reinigt ihn so von den Sünden der Israeliten, damit er wieder heilig ist.
