^9 (A)“Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations,

^3 (A)he shall separate himself from wine and similar drink; he shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins.

⁷ And its drink offering shall be one-fourth of a hin for each lamb; ^(A)in a holy place you shall pour out the drink to the Lord as an offering.

²⁶ And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires; you shall eat there before the Lord your God, and you shall ^(A)rejoice, you and your household.

^6 (A)You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.

⁴ Now therefore, please be careful ^(A)not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean.

⁷ And He said to me, ‘Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. Now drink no wine or similar drink, nor eat anything unclean, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to the day of his death.’ ”

¹⁴ She may not eat anything that comes from the vine, ^(A)nor may she drink wine or similar drink, nor eat anything unclean. All that I commanded her let her observe.”

¹⁵ But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have ^(A)poured out my soul before the Lord.
