³⁸ And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you.

⁴⁴ And in spite of^[a] this, when they are^[b] in the land of their enemies I will not reject them, and I will not abhor them to destroy them, to break my covenant with them, because I am Yahweh their God.

⁶⁴ And Yahweh shall scatter you among all the nations from one end of the earth up to the other end of the earth, and there you shall serve other gods that you have not known nor^[a] your ancestors,^[b] gods of wood and stone.
