⁵ They brought what Moses commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the whole congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

8 ¹ all the people gathered together into the square before the Water Gate. They told Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had given to Israel.^(A)

The Ark Brought into the Temple

² Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the ancestral houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.^{(A) 3} And all the Israelites assembled before the king at the festival that is in the seventh month.

³ David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord to its place, which he had prepared for it.^(A)

¹² Assemble the people—men, women, and children, as well as the aliens residing in your towns—so that they may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God and to observe diligently all the words of this law^(A)

¹⁷ Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God. They took their stand at the foot of the mountain.
