⁵ So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood ^[a]before the Lord.

Ezra Reads and Explains the Law

8 Now all ^(A)the people gathered together as one man in the open square that was ^(B)in front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the ^(C)scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel.

The Ark Brought into the Temple^(A)

^2 (B)Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up ^(C)from the City of David, which is Zion. ^3 (D)Therefore all the men of Israel assembled with the king ^(E)at the feast, which was in the seventh month.

³ And David ^(A)gathered all Israel together at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord to its place, which he had prepared for it.

^12 (A)Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully observe all the words of this law,

¹⁷ And ^(A)Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.
