¹⁷ Then he brought the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, ^(A)besides the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

The Grain Offering

2 ‘When anyone offers ^(A)a grain offering to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it, and put ^(B)frankincense on it. ² He shall bring it to Aaron’s sons, the priests, one of whom shall take from it his handful of fine flour and oil with all the frankincense. And the priest shall burn ^(C)it as a memorial on the altar, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.

²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh ^(B)I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and gave Himself for me.

⁵³ Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless ^(A)you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.

The Priestly Ministry Begins

9 It came to pass on the ^(A)eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel.

⁵ and Aaron’s sons ^(A)shall burn it on the altar upon the ^(B)burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire, as an ^(C)offering made by fire, a ^(D)sweet aroma to the Lord.

The Daily Offerings^(A)

³⁸ “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: ^(B)two lambs of the first year, ^(C)day by day continually. ³⁹ One lamb you shall offer ^(D)in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer ^[a]at twilight. ⁴⁰ With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering. ⁴¹ And the other lamb you shall ^(E)offer ^[b]at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord. ⁴² This shall be ^(F)a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, ^(G)where I will meet you to speak with you.
