¹¹ the flesh and the hide^(A) he burned up outside the camp.^(B)

¹⁷ But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines^(A) he burned up outside the camp,^(B) as the Lord commanded Moses.

¹¹ But the hide of the bull and all its flesh, as well as the head and legs, the internal organs and the intestines^(A)— ¹² that is, all the rest of the bull—he must take outside the camp^(B) to a place ceremonially clean,^(C) where the ashes^(D) are thrown, and burn it^(E) there in a wood fire on the ash heap.^(F)

²⁷ The bull and the goat for the sin offerings, whose blood was brought into the Most Holy Place to make atonement, must be taken outside the camp;^(A) their hides, flesh and intestines are to be burned up. ²⁸ The man who burns them must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; afterward he may come into the camp.^(B)

¹¹ The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering,^(A) but the bodies are burned outside the camp.^{(B) 12} And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate^(C) to make the people holy^(D) through his own blood.^(E)

²¹ Then he shall take the bull outside the camp^(A) and burn it as he burned the first bull. This is the sin offering for the community.^(B)
