¹⁷ But the bull itself, its skin and flesh and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp, as the Lord had commanded Moses.^(A)

¹¹ But the skin of the bull and all its flesh, as well as its head, its legs, its entrails, and its dung— ¹² all the rest of the bull—he shall carry out to a clean place outside the camp, to the ash heap, and shall burn it on a wood fire; at the ash heap it shall be burned.^(A)

¹⁴ But the flesh of the bull and its skin and its dung you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a purification offering.^(A)

¹¹ For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp.^{(A) 12} Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the city gate in order to sanctify the people by his own blood.^{(B) 13} Let us then go to him outside the camp and bear the abuse he endured.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”^(A)—

²⁷ The bull of the purification offering and the goat of the purification offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall be taken outside the camp; their skin and their flesh and their dung shall be consumed in fire.^(A)

³⁰ But no purification offering shall be eaten from which any blood is brought into the tent of meeting for atonement in the holy place; it shall be burned with fire.^(A)

²¹ He shall carry the bull outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bull; it is the purification offering for the assembly.
