²² The priest from among his sons, ^(A)who is anointed in his place, shall offer it. It is a statute forever to the Lord. ^(B)It shall be ^[a]wholly burned.

²³ Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing.

⁶ (Now the children of Israel journeyed from the wells of Bene Jaakan to Moserah, where Aaron ^(A)died, and where he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered as priest in his ^[a]stead.

²¹ Then he washed the entrails and the legs in water. And Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a ^[a]sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord, ^(A)as the Lord had commanded Moses.

^3 (A)if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned ^(B)a young bull without blemish as a ^(C)sin offering.

²² “Also you shall take the fat of the ram, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and the fat on them, the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration), ^23 (A)one loaf of bread, one cake made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord; ²⁴ and you shall put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons, and you shall ^(B)wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. ^25 (C)You shall receive them back from their hands and burn them on the altar as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma before the Lord. It is an offering made by fire to the Lord.
