⁵ The high priest will then take some of the bull’s blood into the Tabernacle,

¹⁴ Then he must take some of the blood of the bull, dip his finger in it, and sprinkle it on the east side of the atonement cover. He must sprinkle blood seven times with his finger in front of the atonement cover.

⁴ Eleazar will take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times toward the front of the Tabernacle.^[a]

¹⁶ The high priest will then take some of the bull’s blood into the Tabernacle, ¹⁷ dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord in front of the inner curtain.

⁷ But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

¹⁹ Then he must sprinkle the blood with his finger seven times over the altar. In this way, he will cleanse it from Israel’s defilement and make it holy.
