^3 (A)if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned ^(B)a young bull without blemish as a ^(C)sin offering.

²⁷ who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His ^(A)own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. ²⁸ For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

²¹ For ^(A)He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become ^(B)the righteousness of God in Him.

² And he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself a young ^(A)bull as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

¹⁴ when the sin which they have committed becomes known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring it before the tabernacle of meeting.

³ Because of this he is required as for the people, so also for ^(A)himself, to offer sacrifices for sins.

³⁵ The children of those who had been ^(A)carried away captive, who had come from the captivity, ^(B)offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats as a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the Lord.

³ For ^(A)what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, ^(B)God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

¹⁹ You shall give ^(A)a young bull for a sin offering to ^(B)the priests, the Levites, who are of the seed of ^(C)Zadok, who approach Me to minister to Me,’ says the Lord God.

¹⁰ ‘He who is the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was ^(A)poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not ^(B)uncover^[a] his head nor tear his clothes; ¹¹ nor shall he go ^(C)near any dead body, nor defile himself for his father or his mother; ^12 (D)nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the ^(E)consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.
