^29 (A)And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and kill the sin offering in the place of burnt offering.

²⁴ and ^(A)shall lay his hand on the head of the goat and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord; it is a sin offering.

⁴ He shall bring the bull to the ^(A)entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord and lay his hand on the head of the bull and kill the bull before the Lord.

¹⁵ And the elders of the congregation ^(A)shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull shall be killed before the Lord.

^4 (A)He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be ^(B)accepted for him ^(C)to make atonement for him.

⁴ For ^(A)it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

⁵ Consequently, ^(B)when Christ^[a] came into the world, he said,

⁸ When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in ^(D)sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), ⁹ then he added, ^(E)“Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. ¹⁰ And by that will ^(F)we have been sanctified through the offering of ^(G)the body of Jesus Christ ^(H)once for all.

¹¹ And every priest stands ^(I)daily at his service, ^(J)offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, ^(K)which can never take away sins. ¹² But when Christ^[b] had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he ^(L)sat down at the right hand of God, ¹³ waiting from that time ^(M)until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. ¹⁴ For by a single offering ^(N)he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
