⁸ lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it in front of the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar.

⁵ Then he shall kill the bull before the Lord, and Aaron's sons the priests shall bring the blood ^(A)and throw the blood against the sides of the altar that is at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

^24 (A)He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we ^(B)might die to sin and ^(C)live to righteousness. ^(D)By his wounds you have been healed.

The Full Assurance of Faith

^19 (A)Therefore, brothers,^[a] since we have confidence to enter ^(B)the holy places by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ by ^(C)the new and living way that he opened for us through ^(D)the curtain, that is, through his flesh, ²¹ and since we have ^(E)a great priest over the house of God, ²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts ^(F)sprinkled clean ^(G)from an evil conscience and our bodies ^(H)washed with pure water.

¹² in whom we have ^(A)boldness and ^(B)access with ^(C)confidence through our ^(D)faith in him.

¹⁸ For ^(A)through him we both have ^(B)access in ^(C)one Spirit to the Father.

^21 (A)For our sake he made him to be sin ^(B)who knew no sin, so that in him we might become ^(C)the righteousness of God.

¹⁹ that is, in Christ God was reconciling^[a] the world to himself, ^(A)not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us ^(B)the message of reconciliation.

¹⁷ and behold, ^(A)a voice from heaven said, ^(B)“This is my beloved Son,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”
