⁶ the person who has touched any such thing shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat the holy offerings unless he ^(A)washes his body with water.

²² let us ^(A)draw near with a true heart ^(B)in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

⁵ And whoever ^(A)touches his bed shall ^(B)wash his clothes and ^(C)bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

¹¹ And such were ^(A)some of you. ^(B)But you were washed, but you were ^[a]sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

¹³ And Haggai said, “If one who is ^(A)unclean because of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?”

So the priests answered and said, “It shall be unclean.”

^7 (A)Then the priest shall wash his clothes, he shall bathe in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp; the priest shall be unclean until evening. ⁸ And the one who burns it shall wash his clothes in water, bathe in water, and shall be unclean until evening. ⁹ Then a man who is clean shall gather up ^(B)the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel ^(C)for the water of ^[a]purification; it is for purifying from sin. ¹⁰ And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. It shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them.

²⁴ And he shall wash his body with water in a holy place, put on his garments, come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make ^[a]atonement for himself and for the people. ^25 (A)The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar. ²⁶ And he who released the goat as the scapegoat shall wash his clothes ^(B)and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp. ^27 (C)The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp. And they shall burn in the fire their skins, their flesh, and their offal. ²⁸ Then he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward he may come into the camp.

Unclean Animals

²⁴ ‘By these you shall become ^[a]unclean; whoever touches the carcass of any of them shall be unclean until evening; ²⁵ whoever carries part of the carcass of any of them ^(A)shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening:
