^19 (A)you shall offer of your own free will a male without blemish from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats.

¹⁰ ‘If his offering is of the flocks—of the sheep or of the goats—as a burnt sacrifice, he shall bring a male ^(A)without blemish.

³ ‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male ^(A)without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord.

Christ’s Suffering and Ours

¹⁸ For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring ^[a]us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

^23 (B)who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but ^(C)committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; ^24 (D)who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, ^(E)that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—^(F)by whose ^[a]stripes you were healed.

¹⁹ but ^(A)with the precious blood of Christ, ^(B)as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

^27 (A)that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, ^(B)not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

²¹ For ^(A)He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become ^(B)the righteousness of God in Him.

⁴ Pilate then went out again, and said to them, “Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, ^(A)that you may know that I find no fault in Him.”

^47 (A)So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!”
