⁸ You shall sanctify him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for ^(A)I, the Lord, who sanctify you, ^(B)am holy.

⁶ They shall be holy to their God and ^(A)not profane the name of their God. For they offer the Lord's food offerings, ^(B)the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

^7 (A)Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. ^8 (B)Keep my statutes and do them; ^(C)I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

⁴⁴ For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and ^(A)be holy, for I am holy. ^(B)You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground. ^45 (C)For I am the Lord who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. ^(D)You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

² “Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, ^(A)You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.

²⁹ How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one ^(A)who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned ^(B)the blood of the covenant ^(C)by which he was sanctified, and has ^(D)outraged the Spirit of grace?

²⁶ For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, ^(A)holy, innocent, unstained, ^(B)separated from sinners, and ^(C)exalted above the heavens.

¹⁹ And ^(A)for their sake ^(B)I consecrate myself,^[a] that they also ^(C)may be sanctified^[b] in truth.

³⁶ do you say of him whom ^(A)the Father consecrated and ^(B)sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because ^(C)I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
