⁶ They shall be holy to their God and ^(A)not profane the name of their God. For they offer the Lord's food offerings, ^(B)the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

²¹ You shall not give any of your children to ^(A)offer them^[a] to ^(B)Molech, and so ^(C)profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

¹¹ And the priest shall burn it on the altar as ^(A)a food offering to the Lord.

⁹ But you are ^(A)a chosen race, ^(B)a royal ^(C)priesthood, ^(D)a holy nation, ^(E)a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you ^(F)out of darkness into ^(G)his marvelous light.

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name ^(A)will be^[a] great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name ^(B)will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts. ¹² But you profane it when you say that ^(C)the Lord's table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food may be despised.

The Priests' Polluted Offerings

^6 (A)“A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am ^(B)a father, where is my honor? And if I am ^(C)a master, where is my fear? says the Lord of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. ^(D)But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’ ^7 (E)By offering polluted food upon my altar. ^(F)But you say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ By saying that ^(G)the Lord's table may be despised.

⁷ in ^(A)admitting foreigners, ^(B)uncircumcised in heart and flesh, to be in my sanctuary, ^(C)profaning my temple, when you offer to me my food, the fat and the blood. You^[a] have broken my covenant, in addition to all your abominations.

²⁸ And I said to them, ^(A)“You are holy to the Lord, and ^(B)the vessels are holy, and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to the Lord, the God of your fathers.
