²² He may eat the most holy food of his God,^(A) as well as the holy food;

³ The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons;^(A) it is a most holy^(B) part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.

¹³ Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?^(A)

¹⁹ Whatever is set aside from the holy^(A) offerings the Israelites present to the Lord I give to you and your sons and daughters as your perpetual share. It is an everlasting covenant of salt^(B) before the Lord for both you and your offspring.”

⁹ You are to have the part of the most holy offerings^(A) that is kept from the fire. From all the gifts they bring me as most holy offerings, whether grain^(B) or sin^[a](C) or guilt offerings,^(D) that part belongs to you and your sons. ¹⁰ Eat it as something most holy; every male shall eat it.^(E) You must regard it as holy.^(F)

⁸ This bread is to be set out before the Lord regularly,^(A) Sabbath after Sabbath,^(B) on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant. ⁹ It belongs to Aaron and his sons,^(C) who are to eat it in the sanctuary area,^(D) because it is a most holy^(E) part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord.”

¹⁰ “‘No one outside a priest’s family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired worker eat it.^{(A) 11} But if a priest buys a slave with money, or if slaves are born in his household, they may eat his food.^{(B) 12} If a priest’s daughter marries anyone other than a priest, she may not eat any of the sacred contributions. ¹³ But if a priest’s daughter becomes a widow or is divorced, yet has no children, and she returns to live in her father’s household as in her youth, she may eat her father’s food. No unauthorized person, however, may eat it.

The Guilt Offering

7 “‘These are the regulations for the guilt offering,^(A) which is most holy:

¹⁶ Aaron and his sons^(A) shall eat the rest^(B) of it, but it is to be eaten without yeast^(C) in the sanctuary area;^(D) they are to eat it in the courtyard^(E) of the tent of meeting.^{(F) 17} It must not be baked with yeast; I have given it as their share^(G) of the food offerings presented to me.^(H) Like the sin offering^[a] and the guilt offering, it is most holy.^(I)
