⁹ ‘For ^(A)everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. ^(B)His blood shall be upon him.

¹⁷ “And ^(A)he who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.

^16 (A)‘Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’

¹⁰ For Moses said, ^(A)‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ^(B)‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’

¹⁶ So David said to him, ^(A)“Your blood is on your own head, for ^(B)your own mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’ ”
