²⁴ But ^(A)I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the Lord your God, ^(B)who has separated you from the peoples.

^2 (A)For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

⁶ “For you are a ^[a]holy people to the Lord your God; ^(A)the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.

⁸ And I will bring you into the land which I ^(A)swore^[a] to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.’ ”

¹⁷ and I have said ^(A)I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’

⁸ So ^(A)I have come down to ^(B)deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land ^(C)to a good and large land, to a land ^(D)flowing with milk and honey, to the place of ^(E)the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

²⁶ And you shall be holy to Me, ^(A)for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

¹⁶ For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, ^(A)except You go with us? So we ^(B)shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of ^(A)darkness into His marvelous light;

⁵³ For You separated them from among all the peoples of the earth to be Your inheritance, ^(A)as You spoke by Your servant Moses, when You brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord God.”
