⁴ “‘If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven,^(A) it is to consist of the finest flour: either thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in or thin loaves^(B) made without yeast and brushed with olive oil.^(C)

² And from the finest wheat flour make round loaves without yeast, thick loaves without yeast and with olive oil mixed in, and thin loaves without yeast and brushed with olive oil.^(A)

⁷ Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.^{(A) 8} Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread^(B) of sincerity and truth.

2 Therefore, rid yourselves^(A) of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander^(B) of every kind.

²⁶ Such a high priest^(A) truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,^(B) exalted above the heavens.^(C)

²⁷ “Now my soul is troubled,^(A) and what shall I say? ‘Father,^(B) save me from this hour’?^(C) No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

³⁴ For the one whom God has sent^(A) speaks the words of God, for God^[a] gives the Spirit^(B) without limit.

³⁸ Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow^(A) to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”^(B)
