^11 (A)‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, ^(B)nor lie to one another. ¹² And you shall not ^(C)swear by My name falsely, ^(D)nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

^13 (E)‘You shall not cheat your neighbor, nor rob him. ^(F)The wages of him who is hired shall not remain with you all night until morning. ¹⁴ You shall not curse the deaf, ^(G)nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

¹⁵ ‘You shall do no injustice in ^(H)judgment. You shall not ^(I)be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor. ¹⁶ You shall not go about as a ^(J)talebearer among your people; nor shall you ^(K)take a stand against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord.

^17 (L)‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. ^(M)You shall surely ^[a]rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. ^18 (N)You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, ^(O)but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

Avoid Divisive Persons

¹⁷ Now I urge you, brethren, note those ^(A)who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and ^(B)avoid them. ¹⁸ For those who are such do not serve our Lord ^[a]Jesus Christ, but ^(C)their own belly, and ^(D)by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. ¹⁹ For ^(E)your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be ^(F)wise in what is good, and ^[b]simple concerning evil.

Do Not Grieve the Spirit

²⁵ Therefore, putting away lying, ^(A)“Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for ^(B)we are members of one another.

¹⁰ and have put on the new man who ^(A)is renewed in knowledge ^(B)according to the image of Him who ^(C)created him,

^15 (A)Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
