³ But in this way Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: ^(A)with a bull from the herd for a sin offering and ^(B)a ram for a burnt offering.

³ if it is the anointed priest who ^(A)sins, thus bringing guilt on the people, then he shall offer for the sin that he has committed ^(B)a bull from the herd without blemish to the Lord for a sin offering.

²⁴ For Christ has entered, not into holy places ^(A)made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God ^(B)on our behalf. ²⁵ Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as ^(C)the high priest enters ^(D)the holy places every year with blood not his own,

⁷ but into the second only ^(A)the high priest goes, and he but ^(B)once a year, and not without taking blood, ^(C)which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people.

^18 (A)Then he presented the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

¹⁰ “If his gift for a burnt offering is from the flock, from the sheep or goats, he shall bring a male without blemish,

¹² he ^(A)entered ^(B)once for all into the holy places, not by means of ^(C)the blood of goats and calves but ^(D)by means of his own blood, ^(E)thus securing an eternal redemption.

Offerings for the Day of Atonement

^7 (A)“On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation and ^(B)afflict yourselves.^[a] You shall do no work, ⁸ but you shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord, a pleasing aroma: one bull from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old: ^(C)see that they are without blemish. ⁹ And their grain offering shall be of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for the bull, two tenths for the one ram, ¹⁰ a tenth for each of the seven lambs: ¹¹ also ^(D)one male goat for a sin offering, besides ^(E)the sin offering of atonement, and the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings.

³ And say to the people of Israel, ^(A)‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old without blemish, for a burnt offering,
