¹⁴ He shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the front of the cover, and before the cover he shall sprinkle the blood with his finger seven times.^(A)

²⁵ Nor was it to offer himself again and again, as the high priest enters the holy place year after year with blood that is not his own,

⁵ The anointed priest shall take some of the blood of the bull and bring it into the tent of meeting.^{(A) 6} The priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the Lord in front of the curtain of the sanctuary.

¹³ For if the blood of goats and bulls and the sprinkling of the ashes of a heifer sanctifies those who have been defiled so that their flesh is purified,^(A)

⁴ For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.^(A)

⁷ but only the high priest goes into the second, and he but once a year and not without taking the blood that he offers for himself and for the sins committed unintentionally by the people.^(A)

¹¹ He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its utensils and the basin and its base, to consecrate them.

¹⁷ and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, in front of the curtain.^(A)

²⁴ and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.^(A)

A Call to Persevere

¹⁹ Therefore, my brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,^(A)
