¹¹ “Aaron shall present the bull as a purification offering for himself and shall make atonement for himself and for his house; he shall slaughter the bull as a purification offering for himself.^(A)

⁶ “Aaron shall offer the bull as a purification offering for himself and shall make atonement for himself and for his house.^(A)

⁷ but only the high priest goes into the second, and he but once a year and not without taking the blood that he offers for himself and for the sins committed unintentionally by the people.^(A)

²⁷ Unlike the other^[a] high priests, he has no need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins and then for those of the people; this he did once for all when he offered himself.^(A)

³ Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bull for a purification offering and a ram for a burnt offering.^(A)
