¹⁵ The priest is to sacrifice them, the one for a sin offering^[a](A) and the other for a burnt offering.^(B) In this way he will make atonement before the Lord for the man because of his discharge.^(C)

³⁰ Then he shall sacrifice the doves or the young pigeons, such as the person can afford,^{(A) 31} one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering,^(B) together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the Lord on behalf of the one to be cleansed.^(C)”

²⁶ He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering. In this way the priest will make atonement^(A) for the leader’s sin, and he will be forgiven.^(B)

³ The Son is the radiance of God’s glory^(A) and the exact representation of his being,^(B) sustaining all things^(C) by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins,^(D) he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.^(E)

⁶ to the praise of his glorious grace,^(A) which he has freely given us in the One he loves.^(B)

¹⁷ And a voice from heaven^(A) said, “This is my Son,^(B) whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”^(C)

¹³ He and his descendants will have a covenant of a lasting priesthood,^(A) because he was zealous^(B) for the honor^(C) of his God and made atonement^(D) for the Israelites.”^(E)

²⁵ The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven,^(A) for it was not intentional^(B) and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering^(C) and a sin offering.^(D)

¹⁸ The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed^(A) and make atonement for them before the Lord.

¹⁹ “Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from their uncleanness.^(B) After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering ²⁰ and offer it on the altar, together with the grain offering, and make atonement for them,^(C) and they will be clean.^(D)
